The java cansole its shown properlly on macosx (java6,java7), winxp(java6,java7) and even win7(java6) attempts. ![]() (not an application bug, since we dont see the java console or any java exception). The application also works with java7 on winxp and macosx boxes! So we thing could be a java webstart engine bug. The application works flawleslly (for the same session and user) on any machine with java6 (winxp, win7 or mac). This problem its consistently reproduced on machines with java7 and win7, we have tested this also on different win7 boxes and still crashes when its java7. the "Java 7" logo appears and then nothing else happens. the "open with" dialog for the current browser appears, and we click on "open"ģ. we click on a internal link in our website to generate the jnlp (its generated because some params change depending on the user session).Ģ. What happens is that the java webstart simply wont start, it doesnt even launch the java console or any "pop-up" error, what happens is:ġ. ![]() We are facing a problem with a java webstart application we have in our company. ![]()
